"Myth of Magic is what a fantasy novel really should be..." Booknet
Here they are...I submitted the first version to several publishers. One of them informed me that they liked my world, but that I had left out the story.
So I tried again...from za beginning. When I let my 10th grade English teacher read it, he never got past the first forty pages. I figured something was probably wrong.
Ten years later...(See what you think!)
Finally, after an enormous amount of thinking and rethinking, writing and reading, I arrived at a version I could keep. I published it with a wonderful Van Gogh cover and held my breath.
Much to my consternation, many people couldn't get into it. I did discover, however, that those that made it past the first few chapters liked the rest of the book. My conclusion...something must be wrong with the opening (a really lousy place for something to be wrong.) So at long last I found the time and the will to get it into what I am absolutely sure no question about it don't even ask me is its final state!
